Well we had shopped at Hilander for 10 years but today something we experienced will stop us from ever setting foot into this store again. My 15 yr old daughter walked into the store today carrying a tube of change she was going to exchange for dollar bills. The change was in being held in an old, empty tube of my husbands that used to hold a liquor bottle. She was stopped by the manager the minute she entered and was told to follow him upstairs. With obvious confusion and fear, she asked why - in which an answer was not given. She was brought upstairs and left to sit alone for a bit. Then my husband was brought in with police officers in which he was informed that she was trying to steal liquor. Knowing this was insane.....he asked if they had checked the container as it contained coins, not to mention that they don't even sell that brand of liquor. They continued to argue with him, even after they were proven wrong. They begrudgingly apologized to my husband who told them t
