We had our wedding here on 8/8/09. Vendors began arriving about 2:30pm for our 6pm reception and there was no air conditioning. We were told that they were a green facility and they do not turn the A/C on until the guests arrive. Come to find out there was an A/C problem that they were aware of but did nothing to fix. It was 85 degrees inside!!! We had guests who were leaving because it was so hot, our cake was melting and we had to ask them to bring out fans to try and cool things down. The owner initially told us the building had been struck by lightning and fried the units but later changed his story and admitted that he never called a company because he did not have the money to do so!! One of our guests worked in HVAC and he actually went up on the roof and it turns out that had they called a company when the problem started, it could have been fixed in 20 minutes and plenty of time to cool the room before my 200 guests arrived.
