Review content:
Mcphail's isn't the worst vet around but he's not the best either. I was recommended to go there by my dad b/c that's where he took his dog. I'm pretty unbiased so I'll tell you what I've observed in the 4-5yrs I have been going there:\r
-The staff/vet techs are wonderful people! They know you and your pets and they give you a sense of community. \r
-McPhail tends to be impersonal, seems to always be rushed, and does not seem to communicate well. (eg. hard to get a word in edgewise and have your concerns and questions explained.)\r
-Some of their pricing tends to be high, but sometimes you get discounts, for things like boarding multiple dogs, and free grooming.\r
-The staff recommended going to the PetMed Mobile to avoid pricey shots given by them. (Of course don't tell McPhail that!)\r
-They performed rectal surgery on our senior dog, only to discover afterwords that his lymphs and glands were swollen and he would need to be put down. \r
-Since he came out of surgery and had to be put down
