Having tried a delivery order of Pietro's Pizza before in another part of Oregon years ago, I wasn't hesitant to take my family to their parlor in Hood River. The place wasn't too busy when we got in around 2pm, and there was parking in the back of the restaurant so as to avoid meters. We ordered a thick crust pizza, half cheese and half pepperoni and cheese sticks. While waiting, my son delivered their game room which runs like a mini Chuck E Cheese, if you've ever been to one of those. We bought tokens and he ran around playing games to win tickets for prizes at the prize counter. By the time he'd run out of tokens, the food had arrived, and it was just tops. The cheese sticks were so flavorful, my son didn't have room for the pizza, and just kept asking for sticks. My daughter pretty well did the same. The thick crust is THICK, but it is just the right mix of crisp while being airy so that you don't feel like you're eating a brick of dough or something. The sauce they use i
