I would not recommend this place and I'll explain why - \r

We have a classic car and needed some work on it. We were adamant about what our budget was - $2k. This was discussed in great detail. \r

We never received a written estimate (I believe there are laws requiring a written estimate at any auto shop). However, we were told they could keep the work we were requesting within the $2k budget we had designated. \r

Well, turns out our $2k budget ended up being $4500. How can this happen, you would wonder. Their excuse was, well it took more time than we expected, we had to pay two guys to do the work, and if I called you for every increase, I'd be calling every day. Yes, this is actually what they said to us. \r

Isn't that the businesses responsibility to call the customer to get prior approval for additional expenses beyond what we had designated in our budget? Absolutely. \r
