Review content:
I have seen several vets at North Portland and I have consistantly been impressed with their level of care, professionalism, and results. When my cat had a urinary blockage at the beginning of this year, and was at Dove Lewis, I was weighing my options, as my cat had been blocked many times in his life. The PU surgery was being recommended from the drs at Dove but I was scared of the procedure as well as the cost. I went to North Portland to get some advice and Dr. McCoy literally went over the whole procedure with me and showed me instruments and pictures and answered all of my questions, never pushing me one way or the other. He was so informative and gentle. Not many drs perfom this delicate surgery but he does, and offered to get my cat in the very next day. Throughout the entire process, Dr McCoy was communicative and always available when had questions. Long story short, he saved my cat's life and my cat has been happy and healthy ever since. \r
