Review content:
We specifically chose this place because they have a ""feline specialist""...hog wash! I'm sorry but the ""specialist"" isn't any better than any vet...and worse, she's indifferent.\r

It's a dog's world here in Charlotte and if you have a kitty with a rare problem this is NOT the place to go. I honestly do not think they know how to treat, except for common sense suggestions I could have figured out on my own. And, they don't really seem to care one way or the other either. 10 K later and we still don't know what is wrong with our boy. All they suggest is slicing him open to ""explore"". He's just a baby too...so it's not like he has a geriatric illness. Everything with every animal is a ""allergic response""...that's their M.O. there. So be prepared to fork out a lot of money to be told just that.\r

And, my kitty went in for his neutering and never came back the same. I have had MANY pets and this is the first time neutering seem to scar him. Not the surgery itself, but he is now scared to death of people, when he NEVER was before. I believe they handle the pet rougher than needed behind the closed doors where the owners can't see. I once watch a dog get a bath while waiting for my appointment. The tech handling that poor dog was so rough. She kept yanking at his neck collar to get to to behave. I'm not even a dog person and I felt sad for that poor dog.\r

Lastly, we checked out boarding for cats. Embarrassing! I wanted to board my little guy here, but I would never do that to him after seeing what the boarding facilities look like. Did it stink! oh...and get this..the tech told me that they rarely get problems with boarding...only small issues like spreading FLEAS! To me that is not a small problem!
Pros: close to where we live
Cons: so many that we decided to drive twice the distance for a vet that cared.
