Review content:
Around May, my dog began to pant. We took her to Piper Glenn Animal Hospital, they ran blood tests but the tests showed nothing. A few months later, the panting continued, the dog began to lose weight and was getting weaker from day to day. Blood tests and diabetes tests came negative and we were told that since the dog had heart murmurs, more tests involving heart were recommended. Throughout this time, the vet (I won't mention the name) was clueless, unable to make a diagnosis or even an educated guess. The dog was not given any medication yet. After a lot of research on line I suggested pneumonia. I am not a doctor, but I wanted to try doing something to help my dog. I took her back to the doctor. The dog was extremely weak, she had to be given an enema as her tummy was full and she could no longer squat. On this day, the doctor finally prescribed medication. The next day, my baby died. She was my best friend and she wasn't even ten years old.
