I was very sick over the Christmas Holiday with an abscess. I saw another oral surgeon and realized that he had operated on me in the 1980's and did such a poor job that I ended up at the UNC School of Dentistry in order to have the damage he did reversed. It had been a nightmare trying to get help after getting really sick right at Christmas. I was to have surgery the on Jan 7 and was in a panic not wanting this man to operate on me again. I called Dr. Englehardt's office on Friday, Jan. 4 at 8:00AM. When they heard my story and how sick I was, they told me to come in at 11:00 AM and they would not only see me but also pull the tooth and do the bone graft that day! Oral Surgeons generally operate all day on Friday and he was no exception. Despite a full schedule, he worked me in and took wonderful care of me.
