Its a shame people have such hateful things to say about Shively. As with any business the distributors they use are different from others and their pricing is dependent upon that especially when it comes to medication. I used Shively for over 10 years until I had to move. I have been to 5 other vets and only wish to have the caring vets and inexpensive visits that Shively provided. Every vet has a different way of approaching a particular situation and that also affects the cost. I made visits to Shively every 2 weeks with my older dogs and I'll never forget the day I had to put one of my babies to sleep. As I cried the vet put an arm around me and gave me all the time I needed and even let me go out a back door to avoid the crowd of people out front. They were always compassionate and were wonderful to work with. Wish I had a Shively near me now!!!! Thank you Shively for all your care you showed my babies through the years!
