Review content:
For those of you who are loyal and have read only positive reviews, I would have had one to give you a month ago. The staff and the service have tumbled terribly downhill; it is no longer the compassionate care it used to be. I would not advise anyone to risk going there any more. I miss the old Shively Animal Clinic!\r \r My family has loyally taken our pets to Shively Animal Clinic & refused all other vets for three generations, and I don't even live in the neighborhood. No longer. The caring touch of the elder Dr. Fuchs has apparently departed from the office, leaving exceptionally rude and unintelligent receptionists, Drs. who once cared deeply & are now almost never seen, & nurses who love your pet & may or may not treat you with courtesy, but who lack the power to sway harsh vet decisions.\r \r I rescued a pit bull from my neighborhood knowing I couldn't keep him but wanting to keep him off the streets. What was the thanks I got for rehoming a sweet stray to a new loving owner? Shive
