For the last 20 years I have taken my pets to this clinic for various types of treatment and I have been so impressed with the follow-up phone calls asking how my "baby" was doing. I thought how compassionate these people are towards the owners as well as the animals. Well, I now know that the term they use"baby" just means future financial income. I took my 17 yr old dog in last week to have him put down. He was totally deaf, half blind, terrible hip arthritus and in the final stages of kidney failure. He was a loyal, faithful member of my family who protected and gave us (me & my 2 daughters) unconditional love for 17 yrs. I thought I was taken him to someone who cared about him. They were very busy that day and didn't take the time to sedate the dog before euthanasing him. The vein collapsed during the process and the dog suffered a terrible painful death in front of our eyes.It took 3 people to hold him down while he yelped. That seen will haunt us for a long time.
