Not only is this store a high-end antique shop, but it is also a non-profit corporation. Everything goes to help animals in need. Daisy Fitzgerald, the manager, explains that the store is operated by over 60 volunteers, and they have been giving money away to benefit local animal charities for many years. They accept donations and consignments, but retain a very high level of quality. ?The things we have are very high end, we have a high standard? Daisy says.\r

Some of the different things that Ark Antiques have helped to fund include many upgrades for pet hospitals, as well as funding a traveling hospital. In addition they have helped pay for rescue missions for animals in situations such as Katrina, and various wildfires.
