California Moving Systems has hidden fees! They came to my home a couple of weeks prior to the move to give me a full quote and at that time and during the next couple of weeks while they were in communication with me prior to the move, they never mentioned a minimum hour requirement. On the day the moving truck arrived, they informed me as I signed papers that they had a whopping four hour minimum, which was twice as much time and money that I had anticipated spending. Near the end of the move, the movers were taking their time and outright stopping work to drag the time out even longer. They told me all of my wood furniture and anything not in a box would be wrapped and protected, however my new bedroom furniture set was not covered in any way and they transported my night stand on a dolley with heavy objects loaded on top of it that scraped and scratched the top surface.
