Dr. Sproul is no longer at this clinic and has retired. The new owners have made major changes and none are for the better. First, the fine assistant Melanie is still there and continues to do her best to care for everyone and their pets. However the examining room was absolutely filthy, with urine on the scale, and feces smeared on the floor and hair from the previous pet still on the examining table. Had I been there for anything but having my dear cat put to sleep, I would have run for the hills. And they had the nerve to charge me almost $150.00, as well as make me wait for nearly an hour with a horribly ill pet. This is NOT the Hickman Mills Animal Hospital I had been going to for 22 years and with any luck I will not return. I am extremely sad about this and have yet to find a suitable replacement. They are also appointment only now making it even harder when you have a sick or injured animal. This is in a poorer part of town but they price everything like it's in Mission H
