I initially called on a Friday morning to determine the cost for a car battery replacement. \r

The woman who answered the phone told me that their computer system was down but that she would call me back when it came back online to give me a price. \r

All Friday and the weekend went by with no call, so Monday afternoon I tried back. The system had come back online, but they forgot to give me a call. No big deal, things like that happen. \r

The woman who had assisted me on Friday proceeded to get the information about my car and determine the cost for replacement in their computer system. She told me "$280 for the battery and $45 for the labor." I responded very politely that this seemed high for the cost of a battery and I asked, again very politely, what type of battery this was and whether that was the retail price for the battery. \r

Her response? 'It's none of your business what the retail price of the battery is.' \r
