I suggest you avoid the aggravation and send your shoes back to the manufacturer for repairs.\r \r My experience in a nutshell: boots are badly damaged, I am out $45 and was basically called a liar and yelled at in public.\r \r But a few months ago when I initially decided to have my beloved Trippen boots repaired I was happy to find Model -- they do have such a good reputation.\r \r Worried but not yet annoyed I returned today to the shop to see if this new problem could be repaired.\r \r The man I spoke to (with an accent I couldn't place--said he was the owner) insisted that it would cost me another $20. He also insisted in one track of rationale that there was no relationship between the new problem and the broken insole, that it was a problem of the shoe design (though this was entirely new damage that developed after they 'repaired' the boots) and then insisted that the insole had not been broken by them.
