This by-the-beach hotel is not run efficiently. I got a room for my parents to stay there for their anniversary, and it was not what I expected or pre-paid for. Even though it is near the ocean, only the 4th floor really has an ocean view. About a week before hand, I had the manager show me which room on the 4th floor I would be getting for my parents. She gave me two keys and told me to pick the room I liked best. The room I chose had a straight forward ocean view with a nice, large balcony. I paid in full for the room.
The Saturday afternoon that my parents arrived, there was a young girl at the counter who had already given away my parents room to a wedding party. They ended up with what was left, a room on the third floor that you could hardly see the ocean unless you strained yourself to look over a high wall. There was also no one there to help my 75 year old parents with their luggage, and the young girl even told them to take the stairs when they asked where the elevator wa
