My husband and I took our Audi in because the check engine light came on. European Automotive Services told me that only the vacuum hoses needed to be replaced ($260). We had them replaced and received our car back in 2 days. Within one hour of leaving European Auto the car died while we were driving on the main road. After coasting to a nearby parking lot, we called European Auto. They said to bring it back in. After another few days of being without our car, I had to call them back because no one ever returned my call about a follow up. \r
European Auto said that they had to take apart the engine to see what happened and convinced us that it was our fault the engine stopped. They said the timing belt broke and the engine needed new valves and a new head ($2,717). We authorized the work which took two weeks. \r
