My husband and I recently boarded our dog here while we were on vacation. We had requested she receive a bath while there and this is the only service we requested for her. When my husband picked her up and we looked at the bill we saw where a complimentary anal gland expression had been done on her. Upon contacting the office I questioned if my dog was showing any symptoms that led them to believe there was a problem. The only answer I received was the anal glands were "full". There were no signs of infection or cause to believe there was a problem. Our dog is very timid and I'm sure this wasn't a very pleasant procedure for her to have to go through.\r

When filling out the paperwork for Brawley for our dog it was included in the paperwork that no procedures would be done on our dog while she was in boarding until we were contacted by phone and our permission was given, which didn't happen in this case.
