Furnace died after 5:00 PM, Called a few places. first place said we don't really carry parts for Rudd furnaces, I don't want to waste your money on a service call for $130, so your best waiting till morning. Feeling the cold more and more I decided to call Krinkie heating and AC. previous company prediagnosed the blower motor over the phone... gave krinkie's the story, bad blower motor. They said oh we use generic motors that can be used in most furnaces. I say sounds good can you come out tonight. they say yes but it's $150 for the service call after hours. \r

Guy comes out from Krinkie's take about a 10 minute look and says oh you need a new blower motor for sure, and we don't have the part and the parts we have won't work... I can get the part tomorrow, but it will be $650 for the new blower motor, and it also looks like you have a crack in your inductor motor that will be another $500 if you would like that fixed.
