I received my second degree at UMUC after getting my bachelors in California. Not only is it a great campus, but they have many satellite campuses to make it easier for people who live in remote places. While I attended many classes at the UMD College Park campus, which has an incredible library, I also took classes at Shady Grove and online. I found that the majority of professors, including adjunct, were very dedicated to providing students with a stimulating educational experience. I have taken other online classes through a different university, and UMUC far exceeded the quality of my later experiences. The only negative experience I had was that some of the classrooms have very old equipment, but this was nothing that kept me from enjoying the experience. Also, living in Frederick made for a long commute to College Park, but whenever possible I took classes at Shady Grove, which is an excellent facility. PROS: Great professors CONS: Distance and traffic
