I've been a member for Fitness World for almost 20 years - at their current location and at their previous location on Youree Drive. It has the best mix of fitness equipment, a great pool, and professional staff. I really don't get the criticisms I see on this site. I've been to gyms all over the country and Fitness World is one of the best I've ever used.\r

I have never had an issue with the staff and I've always seen them treating customers with respect. I read the other review telling how dirty people get in the pool. I've never seen anything like this and I'm sure it must an isolated event. However, gyms can't always control members and especially guests. \r

I know Fitness World will give someone a guest pass so they can try it out. My guess is that most people join after trying it for themselves.
