Houska came to my rescue when I was in a dire circumstance. In June 07, I was driving from California to Illinois to say goodbye to my terminally ill brother, when my car broke down in Fort Collins, CO. Triple A towed me to Houska's. When I told them my story at 4 p.m., they immediately put my car up on a rack and started working. They had completely installed a new clutch by 2 p.m. the following day so that I could get back on the road as soon as possible. They provided me with a loaner car so that I could find a motel and get meals. (When I called them to report a problem with the loaner car, they drove a new one to me within 20 minutes of my call.) All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Even though I was in an easy position to be taken advantage of, they charged me a reasonable price for the work done, and even fixed an oil leak at no extra charge while they had access to its source. It was a terrible time to have my car break down, but I count myself lucky that I ended up a
