My name is David and I am the grandson of Bettie Smith who is the owner and operator at The Village Bakery. If you've had a bad experience I am sincerely sorry. Please come by and give us a second chance. I have taken over the front and I promise to provide great customer service... If you don't beleive me, come in and let me prove it. Bettie Smith is still in charge of specialty cake and wedding cake orders because it is her vision and expertise that has helped the bakery grow over the past 40+ years that she has run it. She is not always available through out the 10 hour work day, therefore we have the message system... I am sorry if this is not satisfactory to you, but we are a small business and this is how we have always done things. If you haven't been to The Village Bakery yet, please come in and try one of our many treats; you have my promise you will recieve great service and that you will love whatever it is your looking for. Thank you for your time.
