I brought my 4 1/2 yr old son to see Dr Schneider because he accepts Medicaid. My son has Down's Syndrome and has sensory dsyfunction and does not like anyone messing with his mouth. Needless to say I was dreading this visit! I was expecting the worse, based on the reviews that I've read. However, I decided that if I wasn't happy I just wouldn't take him back. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. I arrived 30 min early (I live in Middleburg and you never know traffic on I-10 is gonna be) after getting my paperwork done and I only waited 15-20 min after that. I was impressed with the dental assistants that worked with my son. He had to get xrays, as getting his teeth brushed and a fluoride treatment. He screamed basically the whole time, which was not their fault. It's just the way my son is. The assistants were very patient and gentle with my son. After that I met with Dr Schneider and found him to be quite pleasant. Over all, I would recommend giving this dentist a chance.
