I cannot say enough good things about Okemos Animal Hospital. I began going there about 4 yrs ago after another local vet had diagnosed my 11yr old dog with cancer. This other hospital would only recommend surgery and that's it. In desperation I took my girl to Okemos Animal Hospital and I'm so glad I did. Dr Perkowski was my life saver. Not only did she agree that surgery was out of the question but she treated her with such care and compassion that I really don't know what I would have done without her. Toward the end she didn't even charge me to see her and would go out of the way to suggest remedies that I could afford. When the time finally came, she and the rest of the staff could not have been more compassionate. Now I have a crazy two yr old pup and the patience she shows him is so much greater than mine. Take your animals there, you will not regret it!!
