Review content:
I went to the Banfield on Capital in Raleigh for my two dogs until the Wake Forest location opened. I was very happy with the Raleigh location, but the Wake Forest location is terrible, and I am switching vets. They try to give every unnecessary procedure and of course with a pet your easily guilted into it. As a result, you end up avoiding calling when you have a problem. I last brought in my dog a few weeks ago because he had some accidents, and I wanted to make sure he didn't have a bladder infection. The doctor said she didn't think it was a bladder infection, then the tech came in with an estimate of nearly $400! To check for a bladder infection? They then told me I really needed all the procedures. I got them down to about $230, and they made me feel guilty about it. I always had highly recommended Banfield to my friends, but after going to their Wake Forest location for the past 3 years I would strongly recommend avoiding all Banfields.
PROS: Weekend and evening hours.
