Review content:
I am currently looking for a new vet in the Worcester area. We've been using Abbott for over 10 years, bringing 2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 hamsters and a rat there. I liked them at first but I've noticed over the past 3 or 4 years, their practice has turned into a business. I feel like they just see DOLLAR SIGNS when they see me walk in the door. EVERY TIME I call, the person immediately asks me to hold and it ususally takes several minutes for them to get back to me, unless I hang up in frustration after about 5. \r \r I feel like they are constantly strong-arming us to get expensive tests and uneccessary medications and look for the most expensive diagnostic tools first. I just tried to get heartworm medication online and Abbott told the vendor we can't get it until our dog has a heartworm test. He's 7 months old and has been getting a monthly heartworm dose so why does he need yet another expensive test?\r \r I was there the other day and they were trying to convince another "customer's"
