A pre-schooler is smarter then the vet there, my cat suddenly started having severe hiccups that soon turned into shakes, moaning and wheezing, it was so painful to watch, he was also swelled. The vet at BAH scanned him (she never examins the animals she always starts with a scan or a blood work that she still won't be able to read correctly) she came back with the scans telling me in a nonchalent tone that "she sees nothing remarkable" and gave the cat anti-biotics, that night the cat got even sicker i thought he was going to expire any second. Out of despair I tried to help him myself. From his breath, the swelling and other symptoms i determined that it was poison, a piece of dry paint that he swallowed. I gave him a high doze of turmeric in milk to wash his liver, blood and stomach also a cardamon (infusion) for the pain ..he felt better, went to the bathroom, Vomited burbed and farted a storm and ate on his own the next day after a long night of deep sleep. I am glad i didnt
