Review content:
This is the kind of hardware store that you used to be able to find in every city, until the big-box stores and their know-nothing clerks drove many out of business. Berg Hardware has it all -- their inventory of parts is about 5 times that of the big box stores (don't be fooled by the small size of the building!) Clerks are friendly and knowledgeable. If you need odd-sized bolts, nuts, etc., this is THE place to go in the San Gabriel Valley. They have a huge stock of metal bars of all sizes and types, and they will cut to length, so if you need only 3 inches of 1.5 inch aluminum bar stock, they will cut it to that size and that's all you pay for.
Prices are a little higher here than at the big box stores, but places like Berg Hardware make it worthwhile because you can be sure they will have the parts in stock that you need, and the clerks are veterans who actually know what they have in stock, where it is on the shelves, etc. You can even bring in a broken plumbing part and
