We needed our free standing pellet stove needed cleaning. I initially called His & Her's Chimney. Their technician came and immediately started pulling on the pipes in an attempt to disconnect it. I told him it had screws but he ignored my statement. He called his mgr and was told to leave the job because the last time they serviced a stove like this they had to call someone in to re assemble it.I called Chim Chimney. They were quick to schedule, called to confirm, and arrived on time. Rod did a quick assessment and started. His professionalism was a welcome relief from my previous experience. He quickly completed the cleaning in about an hour, This included the arrestor, flue, interior pipes, and stove including the blower. He quickly vacuumed any ash & soot that landed on his mat during the process. The next time I am calling Chim Chimney first. No more messing with any other service providers.
