Last June my cat, Cherub, was sick and my wife and I brought her to your hospital for treatment. After an examination and x-rays, you recommended that we euthanize her. I wanted you to treat her, but you refused. I did not want to destroy her without giving her a chance and I would not allow her to be euthanized without a second opinion and medical treatment to relieve her condition. I took Cherub and went to the car while my wife paid the bill.\r

As I waited in the car, you told my wife that Cherub was suffering and that you were certain she would not survive through the night. You attempted to convince her that euthanasia of our cat was the only humane course of action. \r

Well, she did survive the night. \r
