I have not had a family member or anyone close that has lived here but I did work here for years when it was Independence Village. It is a nice senior living home close to all ammenities in Brighton. They accomadate both independent and assisted living needs. They have a full dining room and serve 3 hot meals per day. Residents can have their meal delivered to their door or can eat in the dining room with other residents. They have lots of fun activities residents can participate in almost everyday. There is also a beauty salon inside of the building. Also several times throughout the year there are large seasonal banquets that families can attend that include entertainment. Lots of young people that work in the dining room that seem to lift the spirits of residents. I thought that all of the staff including management, food services, nurse, and resident aids were nice and truly cared about the residents
