Review content:
I read the last entry on Oct 29, 2010 and could not disagree more. I have been with Dr. Chavin for over three years and he is an excellent pain doctor. He spent over two hours on the first visit and ordered tests including MRI, Dexa scan, full labs and X-rays. No other Pain Doc had ever done a thorough work up. He diagnosed my pain and did injections which did help. Recently he placed a St. Jude Spinal Cord Stimulator which really has lessened my pain and I have decreased my medications by over 70%!, Thanks. I went to Bearden Heathcare and was massively overdosed and almost died prior to coming to Dr. Chavin. They were not rude there but what a joke, they kept raising the dose of my narcotics until I could barely think. When I went to Dr. Chavin he was very stern and concerned about the massive amounts of narcotics that I was on. The truth was that even though I had pain I was addicted. It was due to Dr. Chavin that I was able to treat my addiction and get control of pain. Dr. Chavin is real tough, but to deal with the drug addiction and diversion problem in Morristown and the surrounding area this is how it needs to be. I have found Dr. Chavin to be an excellent doctor over three years. He has been in the same location for 11 years and has many hundreds of happy patients. When I am in the waiting room on my visits I see new patients trying to get into the clinic who are there only to get narcotics to sell or abuse (some of these people I know personally). These scum ruin it for everyone and these are the ones that complain on line.
