Review content:
We used Primary Pediatrics in Oakland before moving to Alameda. Our experiences with the Alameda office have been horrible, forcing us to change doctors. I will say that Dr. Saldovar is a wonderful and intelligent doctor. That is where my praise for Primary Pediatrics ends. \r \r I have three children close in age, so I am at the doctor's office frequently. The wait-times are horrible. Although they will cancel your appointment if you are five minutes late, don't expect to get in within 30 minutes of your appointment. The administrators are inconsiderate and frequently downright rude. We struggled to get a referral to a specialist. After being stonewalled by the administrator for over six months, my wife and I made an appointment with the doctor. Not for our children, but for the two of us. When we explained the situation to the doctor, she immediately did what her front desk was unwilling to do. We have received the same response trying to get one of our children in before he/she gave whatever ailment to the siblings. At one point, we resorted to paying the ER fee so that they could be seen. \r \r It was very hard to switch from Dr. Sandoval, but if we couldn't get through the unfriendly and unhelpful front desk, what difference does it make how good your doctor is. Pros: Good Doctor Cons: Horrible Staff
