I had to have a bridesmaids dress altered, but I read so many horror stories about some of the alterations done at bridal shops. At the time, the London Cleaners only had one review on here, but it looked like my best bet and I decided to give it a try. Wow! I'm so glad I went to the London Cleaners! For having the bust taken in as well as a couple layers of hemming done, it only took them two weeks! (This was in May, so I want to make the disclaimer that wait times might be longer during peak summer months.) I also thought the price was pretty reasonable in comparison to other places I could have gone. They got it done right the first time - and with a very professional touch! You would have thought the dress came that way! I'd recommend them to anyone! Plus, they still have that precious, old world ""ma & pop shop"" feel -- glad they're in Milwaukee!
Pros: Professional service, Great value, Wonderful convenience
Cons: Don't be alarmed by the phone etiquette! The service in person is really great!
