Review content:
I went to Acacia Restaurant this weekend with my husband and two of our friends. The experience was absolutely dreadful. We made a reservation a week ahead and the rude hostess, I think her name was either Kelly or Karen, made us wait for an hour. This was not the worst part, though. When we finally were seated the hostess threw down our menus and sarcastically wished us a good time. She and I believe her boyfriend were up in the front and were constanly making remarks about the customers loud enough for my table to hear, which continued to ruin our experience. My husband and I have been coming to Acacia for years and the food has always amazed us, but this time the quality was not there. My husbands filet was rough and my fish was quite dry and tasteless. When we asked if there was a new chef, our server told us that there was a new owner. I believe that this may be the source of the problems. The new owner is skimping on the quality of the food and using that money to hire a classless host and hostess. He should worry more about the food and staff before his new business fails miserably!\r

After five years of continuously dining out at Acacia, my husband and I will no longer be attending this horrible restaurant.
Pros: the appearance of the restaurant
Cons: staff and food
