I can't believe I'm the first to rate this place, given how good it is. Now, it's not a menu-only, finer dining restaurant, but in the world of usual Asian buffet, it's the best we've had, hands down. We've since moved from Jonesboro and miss it so much... none of the Asian buffets in our new town come near it. Surprisingly, they're price is within a dollar of all the other local Asian buffets, though the value seems so much higher.\r \r Lots of features set Kirin above their competitors. Firstly, the vegetables taste fresh and have a nice al dente crispness rather than overcooked mushiness as found on other buffets. They don't use MSG and they do use good oils in moderation, for better flavor and health value. They serve the usual recipes found on such buffets, but theirs have more flavor and are more interesting and distinct, making good use of seasonings and peppers rather than relying only on fried batter and gooey sweet cornstarch sauces.
