Review content:
It's inevitable with a move that some pieces are going to get damaged. That was the case with my rocking chair and chest. The rocking chair had a few broken spokes in the back and one of the gliders was practically destroyed. The chest had a big hunk missing from one of the corners and I really wanted to get them fixed. I didn't keep a lot from the old house, and these pieces mean a lot to me. My husband found the Abraxas Studio. They had done some restoration work for his parents and he was impressed with them. That was good enough for me! We dropped off my battered treasures and within 10 days, I had them back in mint condition. It amazes me that when looking at a true craftsman's work, you can't tell a repair had ever been made. That's the point, as my husband likes to tell me.
