Wow, I have read a lot of poor reviews here. So much so that I was compelled to share my story.\r \r I went to Concorde Career Institute for surgical technology. The instructors were professional enough to get the information across in a concise manner. I found them helpful with instruction on the material but slightly less helpful on how to land a job. Yet there was a job board filled with jobs and the health care field is expanding every day.\r \r About six months before I graduated I got a job at a hospital. It did not matter what kind of job I just wanted to have a foot in the door, somewhere ( I was hired as a materials assistant with no experience except the only reason I got the job was because I was enrolled at Concorde). I did not want to fight among my class mates for a limited number of available internships. By the time I had graduated I had arranged to perform my internship at my hospital. The hospital was happy, they saw this as volunteer work hours and I was able to receive
