Like others mentioned, they rely only on their curb appeal. The customer service is poor and the management lies to your face in order to take your security deposit. If I could get through to the owner, Mr. Howard Primer, I would love to tell him how I feel about the complex. I will not refer anybody here. After living at Avistele for one year, I cannot recommend the complex to friends or family. The apartments are old, and we had a good amount of maintenance issues. My biggest issue with Avistele was the Security Deposit. When I moved out, I left the apartment in very good condition with no damage. They took my $250 pet deposit and sent me a bill for another $200 because they said my carpet needed to be replaced. When I was living in the apartment, we had a slab leak that flooded the entire apartment with a mix of dirt and water. The carpet was ruined at that point.
