This is the best animal hospital in Queens, We have been taking our cats to Dr. Merker for years. Dr. Merker treated our first beloved cat for years. When he became seriously ill, we took him to Dr. Merker, he performed an exploratory procedure and he called us at home to tell us the our cat was seriously ill and terminal. He waited for us to go to the hosptial to say our final good bye. Our little cat was wrapped in a warm towel and we cried and said good bye. We took as much time as we needed. The staff were so kind and compassionate. We received a consolence card from the hospital. We adoped two little brother cats a few months later and have been taking them to this hospital as well. The waiting room is filled with loving pet owners and the receptionist is a doll. She is friendly and funny and a real animal lover. We are moving away with our two little cats and we know that we will never find a Doctor like Dr. Merker or a more and loving staff than at the Whitestone Ani
