Review content:
My husband and I adopted a senior chihuahua from Whitestone Animal Hospital. Within a couple weeks he showed signs of sickness. They insisted that he was healthy when they gave him to us and refused to take responsibility. He was diagnosed with severe demodectic mange (fatal to many dogs). They gave him ivermectin and he had such a horrible reaction to it that we had to rush him to an emergency vet at 4AM. He almost died in my arms on the way over to the hospital. Upon returning to complain about what happened to my dog, the vets refused to even reimburse me for the medicine which we paid $100 for and that almost killed my little baby. The reason they gave was that it was opened already and they would not be able to get a credit for it. They did not even care that it was their own vet who opened the bottle, as we had yet to administer any medicine! At this point, our dog's sickness had costed us $4,000 and we have not even had him for a year. We caught the vets in so many lies that day
