(I have rescued greyhounds and they often are adopted with dental issues) $1,200 and 3 hours later he was dead. And although, when I picked him up, I kept saying he didn't look well to me, the tech and office manager who had to pick him up to put him in my vehicle insisted it was just anesthesia that left him groggy. I felt they just wanted to close for the day and within an hour I was racing to the ER and 2 hours later he expired. \r My second dog had been previously diagnosed with several tick born diseases she acquired from the track. Later I took her in for sudden onset lameness. First I was told she had an "immature corn" and was charged several hundred dollars for that.
