I took my first dog to Dr. Epstein at AHIS on the advice of my close friends...they have four cats and depended on AHIS for all of their vet care. My dog had serious behavioural issues (he was an adult from the pound) as well as terrible stomach problems. After two years of struggling with various meds, specialty diets, and x-rays (all recommended by Dr Epstein), my dog died of bloat while at a local kennel. I was devastated, but the staff was very kind.\r \r I returned to AHIS with my second dog and met Dr. Mayrose, who sadly has left the practice. She gave me a lot of practical advice about how to handle tummy problems with my new dog as well as her skin and behavioural issues. Best of all, these common-sense solutions worked and don't cost an arm and a leg!\r \r I still use AHIS as my vet, but it is almost entirely because of the very helpful, kind, and caring office staff and vet techs.
