Review content:
I phoned this emergency clinic upon a strong recommendation from a friend well-connected in Atlanta veterinary medicine circles. Like almost all emergency vets, this clinic's website states that they provide consultation over the phone to determine whether an ill or injured pet needs to be seen. However, after posing my question about my sick pet, I was told that no information could be given over the phone because I might misunderstand it or have missed something. My only option was to bring my pet in--an impossibility because my pet was staying at another clinic (a non-emergency clinic) overnight and could not be picked up until morning. I was condescended to at every second of the call, with liberal doses of words like "iota" and a snotty tone. This clinic's actual vet services may be top-notch, but if you can't get past the self-aggrandizing receptionist, you may never know (and it may be too late for your pet).
