Review content:
Houma's only feedstore that I know of is South Louisiana feed and seed. The staff is always knowledgeable and ready to help. They carry an extensive line of dog and bird supplies and feed as well as farm animal supplies. They also have seed to plant deer plots as well as accessories.
We purchase our chicks from them 2x a year and the supply seems to be up to demand. They sell some of thier feed by the pound, as they do some of the seeds.
The best bargain for the money is to go with the 50lb sacks of feed as they are always the cheapest prices in the tri parish area.
PROS: cheapest prices on 50lb sacks, very well stocked, knowledgeable staff
CONS: getting out of the parking lot is hard due to the way the building sits.
