Review content:
Service staff took four days to give a quote they said would be ready the day my XR650R was dropped off. At the end of the week the quote given was roughly four times what I'd expected, and included replacement of a number of parts that either looked or were, unused.\r
Fluids were extremely low when received and there were oversights the service manager said would be remedied, with additional charges.\r
Why would I return the bike for servicing a second time, at a labor rate of nearly $100 per hour when they couldn't do the work right the first time.\r
Lesson learned: $100/hr doesn't but competence, though one might assume it would.\r
The shop was immaculate and well equipped, the staff seems to need further training.
