Review content:
I took a pair of high-end men's dress shoes to have a seem at the heal repaired and the welting fixed. I was told I didn't need new soles but that new soles would be required to fix the welting. I asked the woman at the store if the welting would look like the original welting and she said yes so I left the shoes for the work. When I picked up the shoes 10 days later the soles were similar to the originals but the welting was very different, the reveal of the sole was inconsistent, and the one small seem repair was not done. I agrued with the guy about all of this but he wouldn't discount the $90 charge (which included the price of the repair that was not done). Not wanting to leave my $500 pair of shoes with these incompetents I took them home and promptly emailed their corporate office customer service dept. It's been two weeks and I've gotten no response so I'm disputing the chanrge with AMEX now.
